Product Details

10 Pack Areola MicroBalm 2.0 pillow packs (4ml each) PINK RIBBON ADDITION.

Biodegradable and ECO-sound, our pillow packs eliminate our carbon footprint. We save you money, but you save the planet when you choose Membrane pillow pack products. Care not only for your skin, but Mother Earth as well.

The skin surrounding the areola and nipples is sensitive, especially while nursing, during and post breast cancer treatment, and post areola tattoo. Many creams available today do more harm than good, introducing harsh chemicals that irritate the dermatological barrier (skin) rather than soothing it. Whether you’re a new mom or you are recovering from breast cancer reconstruction surgery or an areola tattoo, you deserve a product designed with your delicate and sensitive skin in mind.

Membrane’s MicroBalm 2.0 Areola Salve, specially formulated to support hydration and health of the skin surrounding the areola and nipples. This soothing salve helps minimize dryness and irritation from chapped skin, creating a light, breathable barrier. We use only the freshest ingredients, including hemp, tamanu and calendula infusions with a combination of natural occurring antioxidants and essential oils to nourish the skin without leaving behind a greasy residue. Yarrow root, propolis, and arnica plant compounds provide powerful antioxidants that promote a healthy skin barrier and cell rejuvenation while fighting foreign invaders.

MicroBalm 2.0 Areola Salve is the ideal balm to apply to the areola and nipples after nursing, or before, during or after breast surgery or micropigmentation procedures (such as areola tattoos). This product is free from any petroleum, mineral oils, and synthetic ingredients that may irritate your sensitive skin. We’ve hand-selected every ingredient for MicroBalm 2.0 Areola Salve, which is proudly manufactured in Canada to the highest standards.

Nourish and support your body’s most sensitive skin with MicroBalm 2.0 Areola Salve, an all-natural product designed using only the finest ingredients provided by Mother Earth.

DIRECTIONS: Apply as advised by your professional to the affected area twice daily or as needed. After an areola tattoo, wait six to 24 hours before the first application to allow the skin to initiate its own healing cascade.

After breastfeeding, apply immediately to the nipple to soothe and nourish your skin. Ensure the areola is entirely free of any product and/or residue before your baby’s next feeding.

Here is an overview of some of the key ingredients:

  • Hemp oil: Hemp oil is perfect for most skin types, as it moisturizes without clogging your pores. It also helps balance your skin’s natural oils. Hemp oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidants to promote a healthy skin barrier.
  • Yarrow root oil: Yarrow root has been used throughout history for its antioxidant properties and its ability to promote healthy inflammatory responses. Its oil also supports healthy skin hydration.
  • Propolis: Bees don’t just make honey — they also produce propolis, a compound made from sap and beeswax. Propolis contains pinocembrin, a flavonoid with properties that support the skin’s healthy microbiome.
  • Calendula: Calendula oil, extracted from marigold flowers, targets foreign invaders and promotes skin barrier health.
  • Arnica plant: Extracts from the Arnica plant have long been used for their ability to support healthy levels of inflammation and normal skin barrier function.
